Advantages of geogrid

Geogrid is a geosynthetic material made of different polymers used to reinforce ground soil. Geogrids are installed in horizontal layers between soil layers and extend into the soil behind the layers to stabilize the soil, thereby improving the quality and stability of the ground. Widely used in various embankment and roadbed reinforcement, slope protection, tunnel wall reinforcement, permanent bearing foundation reinforcement of large airports, parking lots, docks, cargo yards, etc.

Fiberglass geogrid is mainly made of alkali free and untwisted glass fiber roving as the main raw material, and is a mesh structure material made by a certain weaving process. In order to protect the glass fiber and improve the overall performance, a new and excellent geotextile substrate is formed through a special coating treatment process.

Plastic geogrid is made of polypropylene (PP) or polyethylene (PE) as raw materials, which are plasticized and extruded into sheets, punched, heated, longitudinally stretched, and transversely stretched.
